Overview

Shopic is revolutionizing retail with smart cart technology that uses AI, sensors, and cameras to make shopping seamless and contactless. As a UX designer at Shopic, I took on the challenge of designing the Shopic Admin System—a critical tool for efficiently managing smart cart devices across various supermarket branches.
The Problem

In the early stages, the system for managing smart carts fell short. It lacked remote control, intuitive navigation, and easy access to both high-level and detailed data. Store administrators and technicians struggled to find specific device information without being on-site, which led to dependence on support teams and delayed problem-solving, ultimately impacting efficiency.
The Solution
To overcome these challenges, I designed a user-centered admin platform that empowered users with clear data access and remote functionality:
Dashboard

Created an easy-to-read dashboard summarizing device status, performance metrics, and branch details, so users could quickly understand device performance.
Implemented notifications and visual indicators to keep users informed of any issues needing attention in real-time.
Advanced Filters and Tables

Added robust filters and dynamic tables for seamless searching and identification of devices and branches.
Remote Control Functionality
Introduced remote operation capabilities, reducing the need for on-site support and speeding up responses.

Device Performance Reports
Developed detailed reporting tools to give branch managers insights into device performance and failure rates for better decision-making.
